My mission is to help amplify the voices of women and girls who are marginalised by their by neurodivergence. A fierce advocate for empowering and educating others to improve awareness and knowledge of neurodiversity, and how it can present and impact their lives in more subtle and different ways.
Such as reducing women’s health inequalities by quashing taboos and sharing our lived experience.
By using my wealth of lived experience; as well as knowledge and leadership skills acquired from over a decade of working with women, children and families as a qualified mental health nurse and health visitors, to fundraising, and working with campaigners to enhance the lives, well-being and long-term outcomes for those with autism, learning disabilities and ADHD.
Having blogged on Instagram for several years, creating a safe space for parent carers and neurodivergent individuals and professionals to connect; sharing snippets of our neurodivergent family life, to being shortlisted for a ‘positive role model for gender’ award at the National Diversity Awards 2024 - I am currently writing my first memoir and my experience of receiving my daughter’s life-changing diagnosis of severe autism, learning disability and a rare genetic condition.
Working collaboratively with health, education, local authorities and businesses to create I&D and diversity-informed environments. Alongside providing highly personalised neurodiversity affirming ADHD coaching packages to help empower clients who are ADHD, or navigating ADHD during the menopausal phase.
